The Vetting of Wisdom: Joan Montgomery & The Fight for PLC is due for release this year by Franklin Street Press. Hear something of Rubenstein’s more the 20 year journey to portray Joan Montgomery and to recount the epic struggle of PLC fighting to retain its revered principal against a powerful Presbyterian clique determined to get rid of her. As a PLC Old Collegian and former school captain, it was Rubenstein’s first experience of brute power trumping reason.
